We all know that there’s strength in numbers, so it’s with great strength that we’ll work and walk toward putting an end to the suffering caused by breast cancer. We each have our reasons for participating – - whether it’s a personal fight with breast cancer, the struggle or loss of a loved one, or a deep commitment to the cause.
We’ve each made a big commitment. We’ll spend the next few months training to prepare for a walk of up to a marathon and a half. Each team member is required to raise at least $1,800 in donations. But because we’re in this together, we know that, with your help, we can do it.

KICKING FOR THE CURE!
Chris Stevenson of Stevenson Fitness is hosting the first Pink Warriors’ “Kicking for the Cure” kickboxing class on Sunday, March 21st at 10am at Sumac Elementary School in Agoura Hills. As part of the fundraising efforts, the class fee will be a suggested donation of $20 to Avon Walk for Breast Cancer! Stevenson Fitness is a full service gym serving Oak Park , Agoura, Westlake , and Thousand Oaks. Top-class trainers specialize in weight loss, sports performance, personal training, nutrition, cycling/computraining, kickboxing, conditioning, and FUN! DECORATING AND DESSERT
Eileen Gould of Lifestyles Interior Design and Construction will demonstrate some simple and inexpensive ways to brighten up your home using accessories and color. Afterwards, we will enjoy dessert and chat with Eileen about some of our own decorating challenges. . Refreshments will be donated by Cindy Nexon of Ewing and Associates, Sotheby’s, and 100% of your minimum $20 donation will go to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
